Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. The grade is an entry grade in category C, so direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of temporary road signs and road safety rules
- Knowledge of the local area and of road operations
- Knowledge of how vehicles, equipment and tools work
- Knowledge of the highway code and the departmental rules
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Driving licence categories B and C, medical fitness, authorisation to drive winter road vehicles
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
