Civil servants and contract agents can apply. You do not need to have passed a competitive exam, because the post is open at an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hygiene rules, facility maintenance and basic first aid.
- Be able to enforce rules and handle conflicts.
- Be organised and work well with other city departments.
- Be comfortable dealing with the public and facility users.
- Be independent, rigorous and versatile.
- Hold a driving licence (permis B).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time, 37 hours a week, Monday to Sunday, on a 2-week cycle.
- Fixed hours, with 12 RTT days (days off in lieu) per year.
- Availability required in the evenings and at weekends.
- Annual bonuses, health insurance, provident cover, meal vouchers and soft mobility allowance.
