Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly at an entry grade of Category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of drinking water distribution.
- Knowledge of leak detection techniques.
- Able to read plans, diagrams and technical manuals.
- Follows hygiene and safety rules.
- Rigorous, reactive and observant.
- Driving licence B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 4 (Closes in 3 days)
Send a CV and a cover letter to the community of municipalities, by post or by email, stating the job reference number. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time job.
- Remote work not possible.
- Possible on-call duty, and hours may change in an emergency.
- Outdoor work in all weather, with road risks.
