Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Skills in maintaining buildings and green spaces
- Knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness rules
- Skills in using cleaning equipment and products
- Basic computer skills
- Teamwork, rigour and independence
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 13 (Closes in 12 days)
Apply through the employer's website, or send your application by email or by post to the town hall before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required, HGV licence (PL) preferred
- Availability on public holidays and weekends when the service needs it
- Work outside regular hours and across several sites
