Civil servants and contract staff can apply. No competitive exam is needed because it is an entry-level category C grade. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply under a contract.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Preferably in a similar or equivalent role
The profile they look for:
- Experience in a similar or equivalent role is preferred
- Driving licence category B required
- Set up, dismantle and install road signs
- Spot faults and damage on roads
- Report back and work well in a team
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 14 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, using the offer page on Choisir le Service Public. Address your application to the President of the departmental council.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
