Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Confirmed (experienced) candidates
The profile they look for:
- Handle cleaning, maintenance and lifting techniques and products.
- Have good people skills, listen well and welcome others.
- Work independently, carefully and show initiative.
- Know hygiene and safety rules for public buildings.
- Have basic first aid and fire risk knowledge.
- Be available in the evenings and at weekends.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 22 (Closes in 21 days)
Apply on the employer's website. The application must also be sent by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Work in the evenings and at weekends.
- Category C post, with no management role.
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026.
