Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. You do not need to have passed a competitive exam, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know health and safety rules
- Know road signage principles and standards
- Know the risks linked to worksites and traffic
- Know the rules for departmental roads
- Know how on-board tools on vehicles and machines work
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Position vacant from 1 February 2027
- Remote work not possible
