Civil servants (transfer or secondment) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Experienced candidate requested.

- Driving licence B required, BE preferred.
- Able to organise routine work on your own.
- Available to meet the needs of the service.
- Team spirit and good people skills.
- Outdoor work in all weather.
- Must wear personal protective equipment.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Working hours of 37 hours per week.
- Winter on-call duty included.
- Remote work not possible.
- Safety clothing must be worn.
