Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, at an entry grade of category C.

- Knowledge of road maintenance and road operations work.
- Ability to do manual outdoor work.
- Good team spirit.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty, patrols and night call-outs, some weekends and public holidays.
- Full time: 39 hours per week, 25 days of leave and 22 days of RTT.
- Meal vouchers worth 7.50 €, of which 4.50 € paid by the employer.
- Contribution to commuting costs.
