Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. Hiring a contract agent is based on article L.332-2-2° of the French general civil service code.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to drive heavy vehicles, winter equipment and works vehicles.
- Knows road maintenance and safety rules.
- Knows the principles of temporary road signage.
- Knows prevention regulations.
- Works well in a team, with method, reactivity and reporting.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working hours depend on the centre: 38h30 or 36h00 per week.
- Car driving licence required, heavy vehicle licence if possible.
- Shift or off-hours work possible for specific tasks.
- Takes part in safety on-call duties.
