Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry level in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of plants and maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules.
- Able to use specialised equipment.
- Training or experience in green spaces is a plus.
- Driving licence B preferred.
- Rigorous, good team spirit and independent.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 21 (Closes in 22 days)
Send your CV and cover letter by email to the employer, addressed to the Mayor. The offer page also has an apply button for the employer's site.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, 39 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
- In summer, working hours are a continuous day shift.
- Occasional work on weekends and during snow clearing.
- Driving licence B preferred.
