Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8am-12pm and 1:15pm-4:45pm, plus Saturday morning.
- 37.5-hour week with RTT days off.
- May be called to work on Sundays and public holidays.
- Workplace: the CTM depot, then work across the town.
