Open to civil servants by transfer and to contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- CACES R372 cat. 4 certificate (aerial platform, backhoe loader, mini excavator) and category C licence
- Category B driving licence essential
- Experience in plumbing, heating and electrics is a plus
- Teamwork is essential
- Independent, responsible and conscientious
- Public service mindset and good people skills
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Send a handwritten cover letter and a detailed CV to the Mayor of the town, by post. The human resources department can answer your questions.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- Position vacant from 1 November 2026.
- Category B driving licence essential.
