Civil servants can apply by transfer, and contract staff can also apply. No competitive exam is needed, because the entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.

- Driving licence category B required for mobility
- Skills with equipment: lawn mower, brush cutter, pruning
- CACES R372 cat. 4 (aerial platform, backhoe loader, mini excavator) wanted
- Driving licence category C wanted
- Ability to work well in a team is essential
- Public service spirit, good people skills and versatility
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website. You must also send a handwritten cover letter and a detailed CV to the mayor by post.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Constant travel around the commune in commune vehicles
- Heavy lifting possible, work at height and operating machinery
- Working hours change with the season, summer and winter
- Remote work not possible
