Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted, but the profile asks for electrical experience.
The profile they look for:
- Experience as an electrician.
- BR, BC and B2V electrical authorisations required.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Can read plans and electrical diagrams and follow standard NF C15-100.
- Available for on-call duty.
- Rigorous, independent and public-service minded.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- On-call duty for all missions, by week.
- Driving licence B required; licence C and nacelle CACES would be a plus.
- BR, BC and B2V authorisations required.
