Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A candidate who has not passed a competition can be hired directly, as the entry grade is in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Heavy goods vehicle licence (essential).
- Be skilled and physically fit, good at manual work.
- Know the highway code and safety rules.
- Have basic knowledge of winter road care and signage.
- Work well in a team and report back.
- Maintain equipment and diagnose simple faults.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
