Civil servants and contract agents can apply. The post can be filled by someone who did not pass a competitive exam, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. Disabled workers can also be hired on a contract basis.

- Heavy goods vehicle licence (essential)
- Physically fit and good at manual work
- Good knowledge of the highway code and safety rules
- Knowledge of winter road maintenance techniques
- Able to work in a team and react quickly
- Able to deal with road users
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 14 days)

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
