Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knows and applies health and safety rules at work.
- Can safely use professional powered equipment.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Good physical fitness and liking for outdoor work.
- Team spirit, autonomy and punctuality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 7 (Closes in 37 days)
Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor, or apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Work possible in the evening, at weekends or on public holidays for town events.
- Work one Saturday in three, according to the schedule.
- On-call duty possible depending on how the service is organised.
- Remote work not possible.
