Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. The post is open at the adjoint technique grade, which allows direct hiring without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be very available, with hours that may be irregular or shifted.
- Accept a physically demanding job (noise, lifting, machinery).
- Have frequent contact with elected officials, staff and residents.
- Wear the required work clothing.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
