Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the Adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

- Work alone and be very available
- Accept irregular or shifted working hours
- Cope with strong seasonal peaks linked to weather
- Wear suitable work clothing
- Accept hard work: noise, lifting, dangerous products
- Be in regular contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
