Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff. A person without a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is a category C entry grade.

- Able to work alone or in a small team
- High availability and sometimes irregular hours

- Frequent contact with elected officials, staff and residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website. Send a CV and a cover letter before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Sometimes works alone, with constant travel between sites
- Irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks depending on weather
- Physically demanding: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products, long standing
