Open to civil servants in the grades of senior technical assistant, 1st or 2nd class, and to contract staff. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant applies successfully.

Experience: Experienced candidate
The profile they look for:
- Skills in building maintenance, including plumbing.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules.
- Use machines and equipment safely.
- Organise work according to priorities.
- Work alone or in a small team, with autonomy.
- Public service mindset, rigour and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your file by post to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence category B required.
- Personal protective equipment must be worn at all times.
- Working hours vary with the seasons and town events.
- Remote work is not possible.
