Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in a technical field (green spaces, plumbing, electricity, masonry), or equivalent
Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in a technical field, or equivalent, is a plus.
- Driving licence category B required.
- Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing or masonry is wanted.
- Able to work alone and in a team.
- Independent, careful and committed to public service.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Hours can be irregular, with strong seasonal peaks.
- Physically demanding: lifting loads, noise, hazardous products.
