Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the entry grade is category C (Adjoint technique).

The profile they look for:
- Works alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability and irregular working hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Wears suitable work clothing.
- Physical work: lifting loads, standing for long periods.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines, hazardous products.
- Irregular hours with a large daily span.
- Very seasonal work, with peaks linked to the weather.
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
