Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- Very available, with sometimes irregular hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Able to lift loads and stand for long periods.
- Good contact with elected officials, staff and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 30 days)
Send your cover letter and CV to the town hall, by post or by email to the office. The offer also gives a link to apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, hazardous products.
- Irregular hours with a wide daily range and strong seasonal peaks.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Individual interview planned for December 2026 and January 2027.
