Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Similar experience preferred (experienced level).
The profile they look for:
- Similar experience is preferred.
- Good relationship skills with children, with patience and authority.
- Team spirit and availability.
- Driving licence category B required.
- BAFA and/or PSC I preferred.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer. You can also send your handwritten letter and CV by post to the town hall before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Regular but split hours during school term: 7:30-8:30, 11:20-15:15 and 16:30-17:45.
- Living close to the workplace is preferred for ease of service.
- Remote work is not possible.
