Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the entry grade of category C allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Work as part of a team with other technical staff
- Report to your manager
- Drive different vehicles, such as a tractor with trailer or a tipper truck
- Follow hygiene and safety rules
- Spot faults and call a specialist when needed
- Cope with high physical load and repetitive movements
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
