Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Work in a team and share information regularly with the service manager.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment depending on the weather.
- Follow hygiene, health and safety rules at work.
- Handle conflicts with residents by adapting your behaviour.
- Use and maintain cleaning tools.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time post of 35 hours a week, category C, adjoint technique grade.
- Shifted hours possible, sometimes at weekends and on public holidays.
- Often works alone and outdoors, with long periods standing.
- Remote work is not possible.
