Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grades offered are entry grades in category C: adjoint technique and adjoint technique principal de 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- High availability, with busy periods linked to the weather.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Technical building skills (locksmith, plumbing, electrical).
- Good relations with staff, the town clerk and outside suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes tomorrow)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. A paper application with your CV and cover letter sent to the town hall is also requested.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job vacant from 31/10/2026.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Physical work: lifting loads, noise, standing for long periods.
- Seasonal work with frequent travel.
