Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A competitive exam is not required, because the entry-level category C grade allows direct recruitment.

The profile they look for:
- Ability to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability and irregular working hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Ability to cope with physically demanding, exposed work (loads, noise, machinery).
- Frequent contact with elected officials, staff, residents and suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
