Civil servants and contract staff can apply. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

Experience: Experienced
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability, with possibly irregular hours.
- Follow health and safety rules at work.
- Driving licence B required; licence E is a plus.
- Frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
