Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, at an entry grade of category C.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be very available, with irregular hours depending on service needs.
- Driving licence B required, licence E preferred.
- Apply health and safety rules at work.
- Cope with physically demanding work: noise, heavy loads, hazardous products.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply online only, on the employer's website using the button « Postuler sur le site employeur ». Attach a CV and a cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Constant travel between work sites.
- Irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks linked to weather.
- Category C post.
