Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired for this category C job.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Be able to work alone.
- High availability, with sometimes irregular or shifted hours.
- Cope with strong seasonal peaks and demanding physical work.
- Be comfortable dealing with elected officials, staff and residents.
- Follow safety rules for public users.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B driving licence and light vehicle (VL) required.
- Irregular hours with a large daily span.
- Physically demanding job: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- A full-time offer is also possible in the commune of La Vernotte.
