Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade offered is an entry grade in category C.

Experience: Experienced, three to five years in a similar job preferred

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website, or send your cover letter and CV by post to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- On-call duty or Saturday work 4 to 5 times a year to support the village hall.
- Hours may change with the seasons and the needs of the service.
- The job involves physical strain: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines, hazardous products.
