Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the post is open directly at a category C grade (adjoint technique).

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence category B minimum, categories C and E an advantage
- CACES aerial platform certificate desired
- Electrical authorisation
- Good organisation and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to varied tasks
- Availability and discretion
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Working hours can be irregular or shifted
- Very seasonal work, with peaks linked to weather
- Remote work not possible
- No management responsibilities
