Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic plumbing or sanitary plumbing training, required.
- Electrical authorisations and other qualifications depending on assigned tasks.
- CACES categories 2 and 3, valued or required depending on the post.
- Training in working at height and using aerial platforms.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 27 days)
Apply online on the employer's website, with a CV and a cover letter. The offer is also published on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post, adjoint technique grade.
- Remote work not possible.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Some authorisations are valued or required depending on the tasks assigned.
