- Able to work alone or in a small team
- Drive farm tractors, aerial platforms and snow-clearing machines
- Follow health and safety rules at work
- Be very available and accept irregular hours
- Comfortable dealing with elected officials and residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Physical job: lifting loads, noise, hazardous products
- The town hall answers questions only on Wednesdays
