Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone and organise your own activity
- Travel and adapt to hours that change with the season
- Be in contact with councillors, the town clerk and residents
- Wear suitable work clothing
- Deal with state services and outside contractors
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 15 days)
Send your full application to the town hall, by post or by email, before 15 November 2026. The job is also published on Choisir le Service Public.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work is not possible.
- The post is vacant from 1 December 2026.
- The work is seasonal, with peaks linked to the weather.
