Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Driving licence (car, possibly lorry)
- Operating earthmoving machines and tools
- Safety and signage rules for work sites
- Knowledge of how local authorities work
- Handling and storing hazardous products
- Welcoming, listening to and negotiating with residents
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- No remote work possible
- Physically demanding: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines and products
