Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Professional certificate or school leaving certificate
The profile they look for:
- Professional certificate or school leaving certificate; CACES certificate is a plus.
- Category B driving licence required.
- Works on their own, while reporting to the manager.
- Knowledge of specific equipment (roads, green spaces).
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Public service mindset and professional discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 18 (Closes in 17 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the official offer. The application (handwritten letter and CV) must also be sent by post to the town hall.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Hours sometimes shifted (snow alerts, heatwaves).
- No management role.
- Post vacant from 1 December 2026.
