Open to civil servants and contract staff. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade (category C) is an entry grade. Recognised disabled workers can also apply by contract.

Experience: Confirmed experience.
The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be very available.
- Accept irregular or split working hours.
- Be in frequent contact with elected officials.
- Work with the town’s staff and the town hall secretary.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
