Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open at the adjoint technique grade, with no competition needed for direct hiring. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply under contract.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Be very available, with irregular hours.
- Travel constantly between work sites.
- Apply health and safety rules at work.
- Cope with hard conditions: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
