Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open at the adjoint technique grade, and a person without a civil service exam can be hired directly.
Category: Category C (staff)
Experience: Beginners accepted.
The profile they look for:
- Ability to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability, with hours that may be irregular or shifted.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Able to cope with hard conditions: noise, lifting loads, dangerous machines.
- Regular contact with elected officials and municipal staff.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
