The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability and sometimes irregular hours.

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Hours are sometimes irregular, with a wide daily range depending on service needs.
- The job involves hard conditions: noise, lifting loads, dangerous products.
- Work is very seasonal, with peaks linked to the weather.
- Constant travel between work sites.
