Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C. People recognised as disabled workers can also apply as contract agents.

- Work alone, sometimes in a small team
- Travel often to work sites
- Be very available, with irregular hours
- Follow health and safety rules at work
- Be able to organise your own work
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
