Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone or in a small team.
- Very available.
- Accept irregular hours with a wide daily range.
- Able to cope with physical work, noise and lifting loads.
- Follow safety rules for users.
- In frequent contact with elected officials, residents and suppliers.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your cover letter and CV to the Pulligny town hall, by post or by email. The offer is also published on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Physical work exposed to noise, heavy loads and hazardous products.
- Irregular hours and strong seasonal peaks depending on the weather.
- Constant travel between work sites.
