Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Very available, with sometimes irregular hours.
- Accept constant travel between work sites.
- Apply health and safety rules at work.
- Accept physically demanding, exposed work (lifting, noise, chemicals).
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 9 days)
Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer. The offer also asks you to send your application only by email to the mayor.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Remote work not possible.
- Hours sometimes irregular, with strong seasonal peaks.
- Job exposed to hard working conditions (noise, lifting, hazardous products).
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
