Civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly for this entry-level category C grade (adjoint technique).
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Able to work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- High availability and irregular working hours.
- Frequent travel between work sites.
- Follows health and safety rules at work.
- Accepts physically demanding work: lifting, noise, machinery.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

- Physically demanding job (noise, hazardous products, standing for long periods).
