Civil servants and contract agents can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grades offered are entry grades in category C: adjoint technique and adjoint technique principal de 2e classe.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Know hazardous products and read labels.
- Master safety rules for machines and equipment.
- Use cleaning machines, lawn mowers and hedge trimmers safely.
- Wear the right personal protective equipment.
- Know safe working movements and postures.
- Work on your own with rigour, versatility and care.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Apply on the employer's website linked from the offer. The town hall also accepts applications by email.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
