Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who did not pass a competitive exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Work alone, sometimes in a small team.
- Travel constantly between work sites.
- Be very available, with irregular hours depending on service needs.
- Accept physically demanding work: noise, heavy loads, dangerous products.
- Be in regular contact with elected officials, staff and residents.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter by email to the town hall, addressed to the Mayor. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
